Security Camera Question?

Last year I had troubles with someone vandalizing my Christmas decorations. I bought a wireless camera and the receiver for my front yard security and flood lights on a motion sensor. I also have an ATI TV tuner card with the RCA video/audio – input. My receiver can connect to the A/V input and I can record the video to my hard drive. I don’t want to leave this 24/7 and have to review hours of footage. Instead, I would like it to only record onto my HD when the motion sensors are activated, and then keep recording for 5 or 10 minutes and turn off. What additional hardware and/or software do I need to accomplish this?
Thanks,
Joe

Wireless DVR security? Can someone PLEASE help me?

My wife manages 2 small buildings about 100 feet from one another.
We need to go to China for a family emergency for a month.
One building has internet the other dosent.

Is there a cheap DVR that can multiplex 2 cameras (one at each building)? And, that will record on motion detection?
And be viewable from the internet?

And is there a wireless camera that will conform to that DVR’s command to record on motion, and have the range to reach it?

(I was thinking of an RCA [a/v]wireless transmitter for the remote camera…Bad reception?)

Need cheap simple and quick. I’m no IT guy.
Thanks

Who makes a good home / office wireless security camera that can record video or be viewed via the internet?

I’m looking to set up a couple of wireless camera’s at my home and home-office. I would like it to detect motion, capture video when motion is detected, view remotely (if I’m away from home).

Hidden Camera Detection? Works if item is a motion detector and not a camera?

I’m a 20-year old college student who’s renting a room from a Vietnamese couple in their fifties. I’m one of 3 other girls renting a room from them. When I moved in, my room was somewhat "decorated"–there was a bed, artwork, and, among other things, a nightlight. I unplugged it since I sleep better at night anyway. However, there is one of these lights in the bathroom adjacent to my room. I always thought it was odd to have a nightlight in the bathroom, so one day I was coming into the bathroom at night when all the other lights were off, and I realized that there is a motion sensor on the nightlight that causes the light to only turn on when someone is around. It’s also pretty odd that (even though this is the only electrical outlet in the bathroom) the nightlight is pointing straight at the toilet and shower. I now unplug the nightlight whenever I come into the bathroom and cover it with other items, then plug it in after I leave. I really want to buy a wireless camera detector.
I was wondering if 1) Any bug detector I buy will basically do the same job. There are models that are very expensive, but I (being a college student) wanted to buy the model [http://www.uspystore.com/store/item.asp?ITEM_ID=61&DEPARTMENT_ID=86]. Would it actually work? And 2) If I do buy the bug detector, will it set off a false alarm when it encounters the motion detector? 3) If it would set off a false alarm, would I have to buy a better model so that it can distinguish between the two? 4) Is there any place I can -rent- a hidden camera detector instead of spending so much money on one? 5) Is there anyone who has experienced anything similar to this? I’m not sure if I’m making a big deal out of nothing, but I’d rather be safe than sorry. Even though my landlords seem relatively nice, they are rather private and I’ve never talked much to them. My roommates and I are all fairly attractive, and, well, neither of my landlords seem to have a job. We’re in a good neighborhood,
and the house is pretty nice (It’s a 5-bedroom, 2-story house in Southern California). What do you think? Please only answer the bug detector question if you have knowledge about survellience equipment. Thanks for reading this.
Here is the website of the camera detector. It didn’t show up in context:
