Is there a security company that will have a real person watching video feeds in my house 24/7?
I’m looking for a service where I can put up 25 cameras in my house and yard and a real person watches those cameras 24/7. Then calls the police if anything suspicious happens.
I know that sounds totally weird but all I can find is intrusion detection and motion detection w/ CCTV+DVR systems but I need something that’s real-time streamed.
to go another step, I’d like to access those cameras myself 24/7 from a web-based site too behind a password or something.
Know of any?

Wireless DVR security? Can someone PLEASE help me?
My wife manages 2 small buildings about 100 feet from one another.
We need to go to China for a family emergency for a month.
One building has internet the other dosent.
Is there a cheap DVR that can multiplex 2 cameras (one at each building)? And, that will record on motion detection?
And be viewable from the internet?
And is there a wireless camera that will conform to that DVR’s command to record on motion, and have the range to reach it?
(I was thinking of an RCA [a/v]wireless transmitter for the remote camera…Bad reception?)
Need cheap simple and quick. I’m no IT guy.
Thanks

Software to turn programs on or off?
So i have software to turn my webcam into a security camera that uses motion detection and sends out an sms or email alert, but i wanted to be able to turn it on or off with a simple number code or something without having to turn on the screen. and since i can’t find a version of the software i’m using that is open source, i was hoping to find a separate program that i could turn the security camera program on or off without having to turn on the screen.
so if anyone knows of such a software, or a good open source security camera software i could use with pc. i would be very grateful.

I need a program to use with a webcam so that when motion is detected it e-mails me at a SMTP server with TLS.
I have a Logitech Messenger Quickcam, and I would like to be able to use the camera with motion detecting, so that when motion is detected, it will email me. I have gmail, which means that my SMTP server has TLS for better security. Unfortunately, this also means that every program that I have looked at for webcam motion detection to email won’t work, as they don’t support TLS. I can’t seem to find any that do! I am not a novice computer user, and I know the ins and outs of a computer, so feel free to give me a complicated suggestion – I like a challenge!!! First one to answer with a GOOD ANSWER wins. A good answer is one that is friendly, and helpful, and most importantly, ANSWERS THE QUESTION! Thank you for your help!!!
First thing I tried was the Logitech Quickcam Suite, then Dorgem (I believe that is what it is called), Webcam-Control-Center, TinCam, and another… Can’t remember the name right now.

Where can I find a good wireless outdoor surveillance camera?
I would like to buy online, so if you know of any sites, please let me know.
I only need the following specifications:
-Night Vision
(or something that can switch quickly when the porch lights go on).
-Motion detection
-sound mic (optional)
Is it better to use the kind where you get the picture online or on your TV set?
Please post any links that you may know of for pricing.
This is just for my front door porch, to catch a thief that usually comes at night or in the afternoon when I am not home.
Any other suggestions for me?
Thanks for the help.

Ideas for Affordable Security Measures I can take at our new Truck Parking Yard? Chicago, IL?
We have a Crack-Head problem in the industrial area where we park our trucks and we are moving down the street to a new yard that we will fence in and secure ourselves.
We have 3 10-Ton (a.k.a. 6 Wheeler) dump trucks, 2 tractor trailers, 2 Dump Trailers, and a shed about the size of the dump box on the dump trucks.
The Shed has heavy steel bars across the door with locks said to be "Crackhead Proof" when we purchased them from the ACE Hardware.
Homeless, drug addicted, or just thieving people roam the neighborhood at night breaking in to anything they can find and going as far as to just cause mindless destruction of they break in somewhere and don’t find anything to steal.
I’m in Chicago so it isn’t as if we can find another place to move to that doesn’t have thieving scum, the city is just crawling with them and small business owners city wide complain about the 11% sales tax topped off with the "Crackhead Tax" we all must pay.
I am going to put razor wire along the chain link fence and I’m going to try and put motion detection flood lights in each corner.
We will have a heavy chain and heavy padlock across the single gate.
I am thinking about putting one of those fake security camera bubbles over the door to the shed… It doesn’t matter that it doesn’t work because even with video footage of the people trying to break in to our stuff, it isn’t as if the cops will ever find the person… They fade in to the streets like roaches in a kitchen when you turn on the lights.
Can anyone think of anything else we should do to keep the crackheads out of our new parking space?
We thought about getting a dog but the security dogs in the area keep getting shot by the crackheads and we don’t want a dog to die in our yard… Not to mention that it would most likely get out and run off before it got shot… LOL

motion activation on a wireless security cam w/ usb receiver?
Hello, i have a 2.4g wireless usb receiver and had a camera but it was recently damaged and needs replaced. The main question I have is, can I get some software or program that will allow me to make my receiver record only when it detects motion, or do I need to buy a new receiver when I buy my replacement camera? Or is it more about the camera then the receiver when it come to motion detection. I would prefer to only have to buy a camera than a whole package.
Thanks for the Help

How to slip past a motion detecting, infrared camera?
Last month my home was robbed. To ensure that this never happens again, my dad invested a large amount of money into a camera system throughout the house. The cameras have motion detection and infrared capabilities.
While the extra security is nice, there is one problem. At night is when I sneak out of the house in order to visit my girlfriend. I evaluated all my routes, and I have found a route to get from my room to off our property where I only have to sneak by one camera.
So… How can I sneak past a motion detecting infrared camera? Disabling the camera is not an option, as my dad might notice something like that.

need a cheap security cameras for outdoor use ?
your answers may save hundreds of my uncles pigs.
my uncle if a farmer (as you may have guessed) and he raises hugs, someone in the aria go out at night and poisons the hugs.
he has the barn locked all the time but the guy brakes the locks with a hammer. my uncle also has motion detection light all over the barns but they don’t help because hes not home at night to see them.
so my question is what is the cheapest set up for a security cameras system.
he would prefer a motion detection, night vision, and tamper proof.
