I need something with multiple cameras and a battery backup. Also, a system that can’t be hacked or at least is difficult to hack.

We are a small business looking to invest in a security camera system. I’ve searched packages but Im not techy enough to know exactly what I am reading. We currently have an old camera – VHS recording but our employees can’t seem to remember to turn on the tape!

Here’s what we’re looking for:

At least 4 cameras with audio
Record to DVR or be able to watch remotely
Scheduled or motion activated
Includes DVR
Includes monitor if necessary (if it need a special screen for 4-way split or anything)
Night vision would be nice, but not a deal breaker if we have everything else
Less than 0

Can I stuff my vest with cameras, lenses, and flashes? One motion and it’s all in the security bin. Then I can relocate it to cargo pants on board. My carry ons are filled with a laptop, underwater photo gear, boxers….

I’m looking for an outside security camera. I need one that will save images & record when there is motion detected. When I talked to someone they said I couldn’t do this without a DVR.

Which would you prefer I buy?

Hello looking for an outdoor security system for a farm. Would like a system that has around 4 cameras, must have night vision, and must be able to hook up to a computer that will store the images/video and ftp them to my server. Also motion detection is a must. Wireless is not a must as the building where the cameras will be placed will also store the computer.

Using an old PC running Widows 7
Use is for security.
Two cameras.
Need software to active by motion sensors for up five min with no motion and then archive to folder.
Also need software to access PC via Internet to review and delete files if needed.
Also need to set PC to never shut down, even for updates and what not, because of limited access, up to 6 months.

i want 3 cameras so is dvr system is best or wireless system also i want motion detection on one the camera so also i need help on choosin a simple system

having a little trouble with vandels in the neighborhood. Police recommend buying a camera that hunters put out in the woods that are motion detected cameras. A quick check and Gander Mountain has one for 0. I need a couple and don’t want to spend a fortune on them. Any recommendations? also, can you tell when the camera goes off? It would suck to have them notice their picture is taken and steal my camera.
