Weatherproof Security Cameras

I was charged with DWI back in February and during the officer’s testimony in court, he lied in the description of my performance of field sobriety tests done at the police station.

I blew a .08 on the breathalyzer, but somehow, according to the testimony of the arresting officer, I was extremely unbalanced, making figure 8 motions, using my arms for balance, and placed my foot down on multiple occasions to regain my balance. All of that is false.

I know the police station had security cameras in the room where the tests were done. I know the video will prove my innocence and the officer’s perjury. I’ve subpoenaed for the video but if it’s reported as destroyed, I want to have a reference that I can quote that states the minimum time required to retain the video.

I know that in the military, official correspondence is required to be retained for 3 years from the date written. Is there a minimum time that security camera video is required to be retained before it can be deleted? This occurred in Jones County, North Carolina.

Sad that it’s gotten to the point where one has to prove his own innocence instead of being proven guilty.

i was looking for a program that records stuff when someone stands in front of it and is lockable, so no1 who notice that it is recording and that my mac screen lights down to 0, could delete the recorded video. Or if possible record when the whole mac is shut down, which sounds silly.

I want to view recorded images or video at a later time. I have heard that some camera’s have a motion sensor.

I’m looking for an outside security camera. I need one that will save images & record when there is motion detected. When I talked to someone they said I couldn’t do this without a DVR.

so i am going to receive a Foscam FI8905W security camera soon and i wanted to get a good program to go along with it to run on a dedicated computer. i want a program that does motion detect and can automatically delete old recordings after a certain timeline. all suggestions appreciated thanks!

Hello looking for an outdoor security system for a farm. Would like a system that has around 4 cameras, must have night vision, and must be able to hook up to a computer that will store the images/video and ftp them to my server. Also motion detection is a must. Wireless is not a must as the building where the cameras will be placed will also store the computer.

Well I know my family goes through my room looking through my things.
Typically my cousins and my sister and my sister steals my things to give to her bf like my sweaters and stuff.

I want to buy a okay lower grade security cam.
if possible a motion camera.

Using an old PC running Widows 7
Use is for security.
Two cameras.
Need software to active by motion sensors for up five min with no motion and then archive to folder.
Also need software to access PC via Internet to review and delete files if needed.
Also need to set PC to never shut down, even for updates and what not, because of limited access, up to 6 months.

My Fiance and I have had our car broken into a few times no matter whether its locked away behind gates or not and we have been to the police who have been no help and we are wondering about a security system that can be set up outside that will connect with a laptop via WiFi inside, which will automatically record if a motion sensor is tripped within the car. Is it possible to set something up like this and what would be needed to do so.

with everything you could think of. go crazy. motion senors, iris scans, security cameras, 10 digit pin numbers, complicated locks, encrypted info. please! i cant think of anything!
