I need a security camera that can be viewed over the Internet AND that will record remotely. ?

I don’t know if this setup exist, but I’m trying to keep an eye on some property and I’m worried about theft and/or vandalism, and need video to be recorded remotely when motion is detected so I can identify the theif. A DVR won’t work because the camera will likely be taken. Anyone have any suggestions?

I don’t know what you mean by "record remotely". If you want a security camera to watch your property, you have to mount the camera somewhere. If you are concerned about vandalism and it’s an outdoor camera, either you can mount it up high enough so that vandals can’t get to it or you can get a hidden camera.

There are many types of hidden cameras available. You can get hidden as well as regular cameras with a "built in DVR", so that you don’t have to run wires.

The cameras with built in DVR’s can record at least a few hours, depending on the size of SD card you use, and if they have motion detection, there won’t be a lot of wasted footage.

There are also cameras that will send a wireless signal (when motion is detected), as well as alerts to your computer, iphone, etc.

All of these types of cameras as well as other information is described on the site below.
