how to catch someone breaking into my car?
someone is breaking into my car stealing things while i am inside working. there is no security or security camera where i work. i lock my car and they still get in. thought about putting a camera of some sorts in my car with motion detector but they would still that too. besides i wouldn’t know how to set this type of thing up. any suggestions?
* Things done gotten drastic. I know you dont want to, but park far away where nobody can’t really see where your walking from, from window distance. This way not only will they get mad they get at your stuff, but will have a harder time in h.ell trying to figure out where you parked unless they are true stalkers.
Or just file a Police report. If I was you somebody’s head is coming off I dont play that mess..

Option 1:
Just stop leaving things in your car. Before you leave for work, take everything that you are not going to need that day out of the car and put it away in your house. When you get to work, take everything out of the car, and bring it in to work with you.
Option 2:
Leave the car at home and take a bus, subway, train, taxi, vanpool, etc., or get someone else to give you a ride.
Option 3:
Set up a camera that you can monitor while you are at work. When you see someone stealing something (or when the camera stops transmitting), go to the car.
Option 4:
Have someone hide and watch your car.
Option 5:
Similar to option 3: Set up a motion detector that will automatically notify you when it detects something. When that happens, go out to the car.
Option 6:
Put the camera in someone else’s car and point it at your car.

Who else has keys to your car? A spare key is the easiest way to "break into" a car. Do any windows where you work face the parking lot? You could implement your own security camera. There are apps, if you can risk a smart phone, that you can trigger once it disappears. The phone sends pictures and GPS info to the police. Perhaps the best strategy of all is don’t leave anything in the car worth stealing.
